For this week’s Saturday Selection, I’m really excited to recommend a book by one of my favorite authors:
The Unmistakable Touch of Grace by Cheryl Richardson
Cheryl Richardson has been one of my favorite authors for many years. I love that she offers so much of herself in her writing, and her passion to help others live their best lives shows through in all she does. Most of her books are about remembering to take care of ourselves, but this one was a bit different. I read it when it first came out, and it quickly became my favorite book.
It’s about Grace – moments of synchronicity that occur each day in our lives. Divine guidance. Intuitive miracles. Universal serendipity.
I have always had both a love affair with grace (recognizing all of the amazing miracles that had occurred in my life that I couldn’t explain away through my rational mind) and an urge to feel skeptical about what was “out there” – what was happening beyond this physical world.
When I read this book several years ago, it hit a nerve within me. The grace that she was writing about was only just beginning to expand within my own soul. I was only just starting to open up to the possibility of divine guidance. My skeptical mind was becoming smaller and my open heart was growing.
Over the past year, I have experienced more moments of grace than I even thought were possible. In fact, my upcoming book, Coming Back to Life: Waking Up With the Help of an Unlikely Friend is a recollection of how these moments of grace are all sewn together so magically in my own life. Because of these experiences, I went back and reread Cheryl’s book. It was exactly what I needed to feel comforted in knowing that others were experiencing similar miracles.
In her book, Cheryl brilliantly ties in her own experiences with divine guidance with other true stories of people’s lives being completely transformed as a result of grace. In typical Cheryl form, she offers wonderful resources at the end of each chapter and also experiments so we, the reader, can open ourselves up to experiencing grace in our own lives. It’s available to each of us all of the time, and it’s occurring whether we are conscious of it or not. By being open to noticing these wonderful miracles, we allow our lives to change forever.
Cheryl has this wonderful program on her site called, A Touch of Grace. It’s a place for you to tune in to your inner wisdom, get in touch with your soul, and bring a bit of grace into your life. I choose a card whenever I am feeling uncertain or overwhelmed and need to surrender and ask the universe to help me find my way. The card that I choose is always the exact card that I needed to read at the exact moment I needed to read it. I encourage you to click below and receive a divine message of your own.
I know that being open to experiencing and noticing grace in each moment of my life has forever changed how I look at the world I live in and how I live my life. I am so excited for you to open yourself up to grace as well – to be aware of the miracles that are occurring around you each and every day – to lovingly thank the universe for connecting you to these soul messages – to be grateful that you are conscious and open to experiencing them.
P.S. – Be sure to tune in to Cheryl’s wonderful show, Coach on Call, every Monday on Hay House radio!
