Do you know how truly needed you are?
Do you know how much you matter in this world? Do you have any idea how you are changing lives simply by being yourself and by sharing your light with others?
Do you know? Really know?
Because I promise that it’s true. I promise that you’re absolutely positively needed in this world. You are.
When you share your truth with the world – your authentic, vulnerable, completely YOU truth, lives change. It’s just how it works.
When you show up as YOU, magic happens. And that’s the person who is needed. I’m not talking about some watered down version of yourself. I’m not talking about only sharing the parts of yourself that are polished and perfect. I’m not talking about looking to see what everyone else is doing and then sharing something similar because it seems to be working for them. I’m not talking about showing up as the person that you think others want you to show up as.
No. Definitely not.
I’m asking you to show up as YOU – completely you. The you who is still figuring it out. The you who is at times confused and at times filled with clarity. The you who is silly when being serious seems like the way to go. The you who is serious when being silly seems like the way to go. You. You. You. Whoever that is and however that looks.
That is who is needed.
I promise.
And I hope, hope, hope that you’ll be brave enough to share this person with the world. Because that’s the person we are all waiting to see. That’s the person that we can all learn from and feel inspired by. That’s the person that we can love completely because you can’t love what you don’t know. And we want to know YOU.
You are here for such an important reason. You are here to shine your unique light on the world. And you are the only person who can do it in the way that only you can.
Just you.
So please, please, please show up. And please, please, please show up as YOU.
We are waiting. And you are ready. I know it.
You are needed. You really are. Your truth, your voice, your heart, your authenticity, and your love are needed. Now.
Hugs,

This is so inspirational, Jodi, and I couldn’t agree more. I’ll definitely share on Facebook!
Blessings!
I totally agree!
Wow, this is just beautiful, Jodi. Thank you for the reminder, and now I’m going to spend my morning creating some magic. 😉
Hi Jodi. You probably hear this every day but I really needed this NOW. I have been struggling with my voice and doing and thinking all the things you said in this post. I struggle with the authentic me in case I frighten people away or they don’t like what I say and that’s why I haven’t posted since January. I’ve also struggled big time with my About page. Funny isn’t it how we need permission from someone else to be what we need to be.
Hi Jodi, I love this: “I’m not talking about some watered down version of yourself”. AGREE!! 🙂 This post reminds me of one of my favorite ideas…that there are no extra pieces in the Universe, and no missing pieces either. Thank you for this, I’m inspired. 🙂 xo
Inspiring post! 🙂
“When you show up as YOU, magic happens.”
I love that you point that that we a don’t have to have all the answers figured out to show up. Sometimes, I think a lot of us, especially women, don’t want to get involved in anything for fear of revealing our weaknesses and perceived imperfections.
Thanks for the wonderful reminder. 🙂
I found this truly beautiful, profound and inspirational, thank you so much ^_^
Thank you Jodi. I took to heart what you said about being me, about being vulnerable and showing up as the person I am right now, who haven’t figured it all out. I can do that. It’s a little easier if I don’t have to be perfect, but also very scary.
And bravery is the name of the game indeed. When you want to share YOU, the truly YOU with the world, there are a few who try their best to discourage you. As far as they’re concerned you’re just another piece in their puzzle and if you change shape (attain more awareness about truthful living), they feel threatened. Dear Jodi you’ve already talked about this, but please add it where ever you see fit. Our ‘bravery’ battery needs constant topup. Always grateful for your wisdom.
